about
IN MEMORY OF TAYLOR MITCHELL
Taylor was a Canadian singer-songwriter who wrote this song and a number of others, which appear on her sole album, 2009's For Your Consideration. She passed away later that year during a hike on Cape Breton Island in what is the only recorded fatal attack on an adult by coyotes. I've loved this song ever since I discovered it, and would like to give a small donation (however much might be raised by this song included) to the Taylor Mitchell Legacy Trust. This at-home cover is recorded with the permission of Taylor's mother, who tells me donations to the Trust will mostly go towards bursary for Developing Artist Program at Folk Music Ontario.
May Taylor's Memory be Eternal, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her with the Lord.
Visit TaylorMitchell.ca for more information on her life, music, and the Taylor Mitchell Legacy Trust.
